dpHUE REVIEW + GIVEAWAY

Hello!

I hope everyone has been having a fantastic start to their Spring.  It's been very cold here in Minnesota, but I'm so happy just to see green grass and leaves on the trees finally!  Today I'll be sharing a few products that will help to freshen up your haircare routine, just in time for warmer weather.  I've written out a review below, and posted a video review to The Girl Aglow Youtube channel as well!

The lovely people over at dpHue sent me three different products to try out during the past week.  They have a salon locally here in Minneapolis, and the products are available at Sephora and Ulta Beauty!  The products will each be linked below.  Be sure to also enter my Instagram giveaway.  The instructions will be on my latest post, and the giveaway will be live for 24 hours.

Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse

I was initially nervous about the smell of this product, as apple cider vinegar and vinegar in general has a nasty scent.  However, I was pleasantly surprised when I was massaging this into my hair, as it barely smelled like ACV at all!  The rinse also contains lavender, aloe vera, argan oil, and fire tulip.  The applicator at the end of the bottle makes it super easy to use, and I just substituted it for shampoo and conditioner one day last week.  I tend to overuse my conditioner, which causes my hair to have a lot of build up.  I also use a gel everyday as well, and sometimes just shampooing doesn't feel like it's getting my hair completely clean.  The rinse gets rid of impurities in the hair and doesn't strip it of it's natural oils.  After using the rinse, my hair felt much lighter, cleaner, and bouncier than before!  It really looked like it had more life to it, but it wasn't frizzy either!  Most people use product in their hair, so this is a great way to refreshen it and give it the treatment that your hair deserves!  The rinse is safe on both natural hair color and color treated hair.  It also helps protect against heat styling and has protiens added to help strengthen the hair as well!

Apple Cider Vinegar Leave-In Hair Therapy

This is a fantastic detangling spray that also has the added benefits of ACV.  I used this on my damp hair before I put my styling product in it.  I also used the spray to freshen up my curls on a morning when I was running late and didn't have time to wash and condition my hair.  It left my curls feeling soft and shiny.

Color Boosting Gloss + Deep Conditioning Treatment

As a person with very dry hair, I always love a good deep conditioning treatment!  Not only did this condition my hair, but it made my natural color more vibrant and shiny!  I just rinsed out my hair and left in the treatment for about 5 minutes.  Depending on the intensity you desire, you can leave it in for 3-20 minutes.  I noticed right away that my hair felt softer, and when I woke up in the morning, it looked fantastic.  This is also perfect for anyone who has color treated hair and wants to amp up the color if it's been a while since the last salon visit.  The results are supposed to last for up to 3 months.  Just FYI it did stain my hands in the shower, but came off after washing my hands with soap.  There is no ammonia or peroxide in the product either!!

I'm excited to keep using the products and watch my hair get healthier day by day.  I also appreciate the fact that all of these products can be used by people with different hair types!  My favorite product is the ACV Rinse, so if you'd like to start out with one, I'd recommend that. Thank you so much to dpHUE for sending the products, and to you for reading or watching along.  Please let me know if you have any questions or comments below!
