Bonjour Cherie!  

Bellecour is a new restaurant/bakery that recently opened not too far from us in downtown Wayzata.  Gavin Kaysen is the Owner/Executive Chef who has another fantastic restaurant (Spoon & Stable) in the slightly larger downtown Minneapolis.  The reservations were pretty much booked out for 60 days, so instead I popped into the bakery!  I ordered two macaroons and a cake made out of crepes (coincidentally referred to as the 'Crepe Cake').  Eating the cake was an emotional experience in itself, because it was absolutely heavenly.  

Not only was the food delicious, but the interior is dreamy.  The restrooms put all other restaurant restrooms to shame.  The doors are a beautiful navy with a statement wallpaper surrounding the entrance.  Staying on trend, they've used a section of another wallpaper as an art piece in the private dining room.  I've posted a few photos of the interior below.

The interior was the inspiration I needed for adding some color to my wardrobe.  Baby steps!  This blush duster was a perfect pick for me.  I ordered it for a trip to NYC in November and have been wearing it throughout the winter.  It's light yet warm, and can be thrown over anything! I kept it casual with a cozy white turtleneck and jeans, paired with my favorite black ankle boots.
